Instructions for Printing Free Butterfly Printable Coloring Pages:
Follow these step-by-step instructions to print your coloring sheet on 8.5 x 11 printer paper:
1: Prepare Your Printer
- Ensure your printer is powered on and connected to your computer or device.
- Load 8.5 x 11 printer paper into the paper tray. Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper snugly.
2: Open the PDF
- Locate the DOWNLOAD PDF link for the coloring page you would like.
- You don’t have to sign up for anything, just click the download link that says DOWNLOAD PDF text under the image you would like to print.
- It should open in a new tab or window and you should see a printer symbol near the top right corner. Just click on it to prompt your printer to print the file.
- You can also download the digital file to your computer just in case you want to print it later or send it to be printed.
3: Access the Print Menu
- Click on File in the menu bar of the PDF viewer.
- Select Print from the dropdown menu, or press Ctrl + P (Windows) or Command + P (Mac) as a shortcut.
4: Set Print Options
- In the print dialog box, ensure your desired printer is selected under "Printer."
- Under "Page Size," confirm it is set to Letter (8.5 x 11 inches).
- Check the Fit to Page or Scale to Fit option to ensure the coloring sheet fits the entire page.
- If you want to save ink, select Black and White or Grayscale under the "Color" settings.
5: Print the Coloring Sheet
- Review the preview to ensure everything looks correct.
- Click Print to begin printing.
6: Collect Your Printout
- Wait for the printer to finish printing.
- Retrieve the coloring sheet from the output tray.
Your coloring sheet is now ready for you or someone else to enjoy coloring!
